Depends what you think our country should be like.'

Yes, it depends on what you and everyone else thing our country should be like. I don't disagree with your interest in maintaining individual liberties. But, you know what, we're not the only two whose opinions count. As long as we have free speech, a free press, and due process we have opportunities to bring the rest of the populace around to our way of thinking and get some action. Meanwhile, we are all entitled to our opinions. We are not entitled to usurp the rights of our fellows by taking things into our own hands. That would make us, like I said, megalomaniacs and terrorists.

If you cherish freedom and the right to do what you like with your life in the privacy of your home as long as you aren't hurting anybody else, we're way past that point, and going the wrong direction.

I do cherish those thing, very much so. Way past that point? Ya gotta be kidding.

P.S. The Supreme Court said yesterday that the cops can't use heat sensing devises to snoop on people in their homes. My little castle is feeling pretty good about that.
