I personally am not calling a bottom, but I often use FUTS to trigger ins and outs of positions both long and short. It looks, for now, like the market is turning. For how long? I won't guess, but FUTS shows where the market is headed. We were negative from the get-go today and just went green. OK, it is slightly red at the moment, but that was a large swing during the day. Maybe the market just feels like it has dropped enough...for now.

Of course, long or short, it helps to pick stocks with stories that will help propel them in the direction you desire.
