Sand Technology Wins Two Contracts Totaling $3.3m for CRM Managed Hosting Services
Realizes Immediate ROI on New, Enlarged Hosting Environment And Foresees More of the Same Soon
MONTREAL, June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Sand Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: SNDT - news) announces two major CRM contract wins for its new larger hosting environment. The UK-based contracts are valued at $3.3 million (Canadian), over three years and are a significant and immediate return on the $1.08 million (Canadian) recently invested in the hosting environment. The larger, purpose-built environment is located within Sand's new European Headquarters, in St.Albans, UK.
``Previous to the investment in our hosting centre, we would not have been able to compete and win substantial contracts of this nature,'' says Duncan Painter, Executive Vice President, EMEA. ``With our larger hosting facility we are now able to not only support our mid-tier customers with a CRM managed service offering, where they want Sand to own the system from end-to-end, but we are also able to host the demands from large organisations for total managed database environments.''
