Let's look at some recent BI charts. They are quite ugly: Query and reporting: siliconinvestor.com ETL & OLAP: siliconinvestor.com Analytical Applications:http://www.siliconinvestor.com/portfolio/chart.gsp?pid=9243206&s=APLX&s=COGN&s=GNTI&s=HYSL&s=IFMX&s=INFA&n=100&p=D Ugly all around. Informix has the only positive showing, yet is still well down from highs durring the last 100 days. I am still very enthusiastic on the prospects for this sector. Given the large ROI typically achieved from BI projects, I would expect spending on these products to resume before PC or telecom spending. Comments please
