Dale W.: I agree that NASDAQ is acting like the Phoenix -- it cannot be killed and continually rises from the dead. My take is also that NASDAQ will not come anywhere near retesting the April 4 low. However, I have a slightly different take as to when to jump into the fray.

Rather than guessing whether NASDAQ will bottom at 2000, 1900, 1800, etc, during the earnings warning season, I am using time as my guide. I think the worst of the warnings will be over by the end of this month. I will avoid buying until the last week of June -- wherever the NASDAQ is (assuming it has not run up) -- in preparation for a short but significant rally in July and early August. I'm hoping for 1900 but agree that NASDAQ may not dip below 2000.
