CDG threatening to throw NOK out of the cdma group, because of the inaccurate white paper. (post today had article on that). Qcom management will be in Europe this month talking to carriers about using cdma for upgrade path; Roberts opines that he expects announcements in 30 days. Reiterates strong buy.

My twist: Management wouldn't be going to Europe if a deal were not close to be had. According to Roberts it seems like the dam (or is it damned) in Europe may break towards cdma and soon. Also seems NOK getting skittish about its direction and may blink; stagnation because NOK has nothing new to offer that works. Today's, NOK warning may cause it to blink. Qcom down on NOK news but Roberts' 30-day announcement prediction hasn't gotten much play. If Qcom gets one or more carriers to break in its direction, Qcom is gonna take off.
