I seem to remember alot of dire predictions back in the 1970s. Except back then the common thinking was we were heading into a new ice age. Do you remember the winter of 1977?

Now the eco-hysteria is global warming. Clearly the world is warmer today than it was during the last ice age. The earth has long term (10,000 years+) cycles that are poorly understood. The question is, is man contributing to this phenonmenon? To make a claim based on 5 years of surface measurement is silly. Surface measurements are notoriously faulty at predicting weather.

In the history of the world the temps have been BOTH colder and warmer than today. In both cases the earth found a way to survive.
