Dennis,

You reported that another writer had stated some concerns:

+++++++++++++++++
1. The place is too noisy. Lots of people sitting at the table gave up talking to each other across the table
because they have to strain. Some just sat there looking bored.

2. The place is well decorated and cute but it is sort of like a up-scale Showbiz Pizza Place. By the time the
gorilla pounds on his chest for the third time it was tiring. I know it gets enough repeat customers but I really
wonder why?

3. The neon globe with the words "save the rain forest" is too sanctimonious to me. To be fair, I do not know
if RAIN contributes to saving the rainforest other than perhaps drawing awareness. I am not saying whether
they should or shouldn't contribute but it is clear that they are taking advantage of people's love for nature and
rainforests and transforming that into sells dollars. It works but it can also backfire if it draws attention from
conservancy groups if the company itself appears not to be "contributing its fair share".

Dennis,

The person making these comments makes three points worth considering. I hope management can respond to them.

After all, having to eat in an environment so loud that conversation is difficult is no fun at all. And our party also noticed that the run of animated sequences cycles too often to serve as a draw for a second visit. But the third point concern me most.

I am pretty sure that the people making RFC a hit by showing up in droves (not to mention some of us stockholders) are as interested in "Saving the Rainforest" as we are in an entertaining meal or investing for fun and profit. We know that there are groups of people who may come to revile the company for exploiting an environmental theme while helping too little to address the legitimate concern. So, the company had best be prepared to keep them from becoming upset. How? By doing enough to save the rainforest to justify their use of the theme.

I know. The quarters and other coins scooped from the alligator pool at the mall entrance are contributed to environmental groups. And the neon sign does direct attention to the problem associated with deforestation of our planet.

But more agressive and obvious support with the concern they are using will be needed, and the sooner the better. This is a good stock, and the tropical rainforest with its biological diversity is of overwhelming importance to earth life forms. We don't want to lose the unique status of either (stock, lifeforms).

The better bet would be for management to identify the groups most significantly into rainforest preservation in the US and Internationally and negotiate UP FRONT a settlement (percent of sales or profit on specific items from the retail shops bearing the "Save the RAinforest" logo, perhaps). Before they react. I should say "we" beause I belong to several, and my attraction to the stock was partially due to the positive theme.

I sure like this stock. I have legitimate concerns for the environment. I hope this continues to be a unified set of projects.
