orcl: according your chart looks better. I just had this feeling about orcl that it would break this timme. PE is high due to being a sw company and flexibility it has in reporting. s&p rates is buy w. fairvlue 65 (i think). Msft only has 5% databse market and does not seem intrested in growing this market. So i like orcl slightly better. sunw: has grown 40% earning but stock has moved 0 almost. i don't know why bev think sun is a better chart since i don't understand ta. Good server business. each servers sells for $1m++. lots of demand for server. I read the sec. on sun. it closed at 35.50 which i was a bit disappointed. i thought once it crosses the hurdel it should fly. MSFT has built fear into wallstreet abaout investing in sun. sun leaps were/are $4.50-5 for jan 98 for $35 strike price. which means your $5 would goto $7 if sun goes from 35 to 37. you can buy this and sell it in 2 months or so. If you hold till jan.98 you would want to make sure sun will be trading over 35+5=40. I believe money HAS to come to techs. People are shook up by intel. Have fear of techs. Your/my job is to find good tech stocks before these money managers find them. As blind heards they will pour their money on stocks that are on the move (breaking out) and no earning disappointments. You must make sure that the companies you want to invest in don't have earning disappointmetns (except intel). I am a very happy owner of intel because now i have found out what could happen in a worst case. so many down grades in intel and it's not coming down below 140. going forward this makes me feel comfortable. as intel WILL move forward. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU SEE IN YOUR CHARTS FOR NEXT WEEK ON SUN.
