Hello mr.mark,

It's been a long time, but I'm still lurking in the background. I see that you are going to use the same networking setup I've been using for over a year. When you get ready to connect everything, use the cable that came with your cable modem to connect it to the WAN port of the router. Then use straight through cables to connect each computer to the router, one NIC per computer. I consider the Linksys cable/dsl router the best piece of equipment I've purchased in some time. After you get everything hooked up and working, you might take a look at a program called Remote Administrator (http://www.famatech.com/). The program allows you to control one pc from another on your local network or even over the internet, and works great for transferring files to someone else's pc over the internet. I've also been using it for about eight months and think it's great. If you have any questions, let me know.

Alan
