when we hooked up the cable internet the cable techie DID check the signal strength AT my computer .... and I do have a splitter underneath the desk to power the boxes and the tv I have on the desk ... the cable guy did remark that the number of cable lines from the outside terminal into the house was the most he'd seen and seemed amazed that I'd run them myself during construction .... hey ... it is easy THEN .....
