| Well, I reason from the Divine Nature: although both are involved in unnatural practices, gays are making no claim about the cosmic order itself, or the appropriateness of heterosexuality, but simply affirming their inclination to be different. Vegetarians, on the other hand, are out and out challenging the order of creation, asserting that God made a mistake to create carnivores and omnivores. Also, gays usually have a sense of humor and style, while vegetarians are usually humorless zealots who wear khaki and Berkenstocks. God, possessing all perfections, surely has good taste. Finally, homosexuals are generally pleasant company, whereas vegetarians are usually sanctimonious pains in the ass. Gays would obviously fit into Heaven much better, and might even sing some Gershwin....... |
