These dishes are often seasoned with garlic and served with vine-ripened tomatoes. The Company's oversized portions are served family style on large platters, and each item can be shared by the entire table. Beginning in fiscal 2001, the Company added a baked specialties menu to each of its restaurants. These specialties will be offered every day to customers, and will include Baked Ravioli, Cannelloni, Manicotti and Stuffed Shells.

Financial Summary
BUCA owns and operates 62 full-service, dinner-only restaurants under the name Buca di Beppo, offering immigrant Southern Italian cuisine in a fun, energetic atmosphere that parodies the decor and ambiance of post-War Italian/American eateries. For the 13 weeks ended 4/1/01, sales rose 47% to $39.5 million. Net income rose 87% to $1.6 million. Results reflect the addition of new restaurants and management's efforts to reduce preopening costs.
