Dear Asenna1: Yes, I saw that quote, whats wrong with it? Tundra grows VERY SLOWLY thus if it is damaged takes decades to replenish itself, however driving on the ice roads means that there would be no imprint on the underlying Tundra. Frankly, since much of that is basically marshland there really is no other way to access the area. JDN
