Message #20628 from Big Dog at Jun 13, 2001 9:12 AM Huh? The cable internet service is provided by the same company that is the cable TV service. Why wouldn't the same cable be used? because the cable co. provides on one IP address. And they really dont want you to even netwrok more computers without paying them for each. Of course if you pay them for each computer, they will provide you 3 IP addresses and you wont even need a hub or router. It will be the same as you living in 3 seperate houses and getting a connection for each.
