i guess my issue is with Moto's vapor pipedreams when it's intel with 2ghz p4 on .18u it is coming but when it moto, it's vapor pipedreams. Palm might be looking at the handwriting on the wall as you say, intel's part is a mature part, palm is not using it, hand is not using it; only compaq is and i don't see either palm or compaq using the new one yet. maybe palm has seen what's on the wall and that's why moto is using the arm core. it's kinda difficult to change to a new chip without your peripherals. i'm sure moto would have a better handle on palm peripherals. also arm9 is running at 400 mhz at tsmc .15u process. (you know tsmc, that asic company?:-)
