I'm 90% sure that the CPU inside the "mobile Duron" Sony FX210 is a castrated Palomino and not an ordinary Duron chip. However, after looking at the specs, I believe that the chipset does not fully support PowerNow, and that there is no battery saver mode or automatic mode. It always runs at 800 MHz.

It's now off my Fathers Day list.
