Gordon, No doubt Al felt differently about his zinc mine. Mining is an important industry. SUV's do not materialize out of thin air. This may be the Star Trek generation, but we don't have replicaters yet. Like it or not people are going to continue digging stuff out of the ground for a long time. The worst thing about Gore was his hypocrisy. Regarding energy, I think the US should start designing nuclear powered hydrogen distillation plants on the ocean. And lets be sure to put a few in California. Hydrogen is the perfect automotive fuel, when it burns the by-product is water. All the Best, josh
