With Dresden not much past 50% two quarters ago (when the first of the wafers being offered for sale this quarter were being started) AMD's capacity may be a fair amount less than 9 to 10 million parts for the current quarter.

Given that Q4 2000) capacity was claimed to be 8 million units (7.2 million K7 were promised, if the demand had not collapsed, + some K6s). Add 2 quarters of capacity additions in Dresden, 700 wpw each quarter, or 1400 wpw of additional capacity, which should translate to some 2 million chips per quarter, we have at least 10 million, using basic arithmetic.
