I wouldn't think of myself as an attractive enough target to be worth bothering with. I find the Internet to be a useful tool, and anything that threatens to harm the effectiveness of that tool is a concern in my book. I respect the man's work from having used his tools and advice for a year or two, and if he thinks it's a serious problem, I am inclined to take it seriously on that basis.
