Good thread, Gussy! You love to post threads but I don't konow if your smart to digest them! Lets see if I can help! ggg
This is complex affair so we can go step by step.
Furst lets divide Caucasus from ex-Soviet republics east of the Caspian Sea! Yes they have things in common and no, they don't!
In Caucasus, Armenia and Grozins, both Arthodox Christians are more or less alined with Russians than alined with Russia, than with Azaris, Tushins, Chechens, Ossets, or Abakahzianz, Lezghians, Tushins or other minorities!
There may be some factions in Gerogia that "unoffcially" aid the Checens, but that is only questions of money and lost love! Mesam Dasi,Meori Dasi, folowers of Gamsakhurdia? Who know?? Armenians, too inisgnificant and too scared to worry about!
The main question here is the control of the pipe-line! With or without Hyder Alieve, baku is under Russian COntrol! So there is no question there.
The pip-line from Baku will go to Derbent, enters Russian proper in Daghistan, to Grozney, and crosses Northren Georgia into Russian ports in Black Sea!(Kara Deniz!) ( Russians have already helped the Ossets to declare their autonomy from Gerogians, and are in full control of the Pipe Line form Baku to the Balck Sea! The question solved!
How will Russia will cope with Chechens? They don't have to put an end to it, they will live with it They may even build a new tomb to Imam Shamil to keep the locals happy !ggg WHo knows!
What will Gerogian do? Nothing. ANy time Shavernadze breaks ball with Russians, they will scare him off with bomb or assasination attempt! Gamsakhurdia may also still be alive who knows! However the Ossetia is gone for good! Sounds like chaos, well you Arabs are used to it, but Russians love to fish in muddy creeks! Am I telling you too many things byone your IQ level! If so forgive me, if not I will go on in my next post! |
