There is synthetic leasing products available that provide off-balance financing. It's a loan structured as 'lease' wink-wink with tax treatment off balance... we used to securitize and syndicate those when I was with Newcourt Capital. Typical assets were rail and aerospace though, not sure if the same applies for facilities.
