My hubby built a tomato house right on top of one of our raised beds that has removable sides and ends in case <VBG> it gets too hot. We grow our tomatoes in it now and usually have a great crop. (Last year being an exception, but I understand that everyone had a sparse crop last year). I believe that you have warmer weather down your way than we do up here in North Seattle. We are smack dab in the middle of that damned "conversion zone" thing and when it is nice and sunny in Seattle, we can count on clouds, cold and rain. Hmmmmmmmm "Toasted tomato sandwiches" How do you do that? M
