Wallace,

>you'll get no apology from me

I don't want any.

Idle speculation with zero foundation. Even assuming that former employees are disgruntled, did you or Mike analyze what security features need to be increased because of that? Firewalls? Antivirus? Maybe security guards? Does SYMC make the products that need to be increased? Do the companies really have to replace their old security products with new ones? Why? What percentage of the SYMC sales go to "disgruntled" high tech companies?

>Dr. Burry is IMVHO a most reputable source, a person located near Silicon Valley who first alerted us to SYMC over a year ago.

Yeah, and I bought after reading his analysis and doing my own DD. But at that time he did analysis not a 10-word quote. He showed that the valuation was low, that the growth was there, that the company was successfully transitioning from hodge-podge software house to security company. These were good reasons to buy. I don't doubt that there are great reasons to buy now, but they are not in the sound bites. Your other quote was more interesting although too short to catch the context.

>so far, I'm wrong, you're right.

I'm not in competition to be right. I did not even say that SYMC will go down. I just said very nicely that BS quote does not analysis make.

Jurgis - Tell me what is the valuation? what is the growth? what are challenges? opportunities?
