Arik: The U.S. Dollar is the biggest fantasy land currency that ever existed. It is so immensely cut off from its economic fundamentals that it has nowhere else to go but down hard like the NAZ over the next couple of years. Who ever heard of currency sustaining its international value indefinitely when the Fed has been creating fresh new money at a rate of $US 3.1 Billion - EVERY DAY! We got a 16% rate annualized rate of monetary expansion in the good ole USA these days, as I'm sure you are quite aware. We have been witnessing a global US Dollar Bubble. What happens when all the lendable funds available on the lending counters will NOT be taken up? At that point, Americans will finally have borrowed up to their limits and all new loans will be refused like Japan. What is crucial to Gold is the current foreign holders of U.S. shares and bonds. If either or both the U.S. stock and bond markets fall again, foreign investors would be the ones who would follow up their stock and bond sales with sales of the U.S. Dollar. We are now in the very early stages of the slow drawn out Chinese Water Torture secular bear market which we spoke of as an alternative option in 97 on the Millenium Crash Thread, which you founded. Got Gold? Got Guts? Got Gold Stocks? I've been buying all dips in the gold market this year? It's a Bull Market.
