Since when are CALIFORNIA's power problems anyone else's fault than CALIFORNIA's? Do you blame the Federal government for everything? Bush (nor the US Government) is not responsible for YOUR STATE's problems in this regard!! YOUR STATE's government is at the front of the line for blame. Why can't you admit that to yourself? Why does the Federal government have to bail out YOUR short-sighted STATE???? Actions taken under the Clinton Administration were intended to deliver CA votes to Gore. Those actions also cost consumers in other states more for their power (produced in THEIR STATES), and all because CALIFORNIA has absolutely refused to deal with it's own problems. It is about time that you all get off of the tit of the Federal government (i.e. expecting the rest of the country to foot the bill for your myopia). What action did GWB take to create the power crunch? I'm really interested to hear your theory... ~SB~
