The nearby street vendor had been ignoring all the commotion. He slowly pushed his cart up the sidewalk, pausing in front of each storefront to ply his wares.

He narrowly missed being run over by a GI carrying a bazooka shaped black flower vase.

He watched as that group of people and their pet hamsters crawled under the military vehicle and the tour bus.

Seeing an opportunity to market his goods, he pushed his cart closer to the flower covered tour bus.

He knocked on the driver's side window. The bus driver opened it, pushing away the excess flowers.

"Achoo!", sneezed the bus driver.

"You or your passengers want any Father's Day cards?", asked the vendor.

"Get out of here and quit bugging my passengers!", yelled the bus driver.

Dejected, the street vendor turned away, and began walking up 1st Street.

"Sigh", he sighed. "No business today. Pretty slow. Everybody out of town, I guess. Might as well take off for the weekend."

With that, he peeked under the military vehicle, said "Happy Father's Day to all you Dads", and then disappeared around the corner of the Black Corporation building.

[Editor's note: #474 .. A PALindrome for TED, who is outta' here to enjoy an out of town Father's Day with his family].
