Paul, bringing your old HARDWARE for evaluation is not the same as evaluating an evolving SOFTWARE and it's vendor promises. It really takes time. "you wouldn't call him a BOZO ?" I am not sure about the meaning of this word, but trusting you, I also would call Alsop this name. It seems like he has no clue whatsoever on how PC industry operates, what drives the upgrade pattern, and how an open (relatively) architecture is different from a proprietary and single-sourced one. - Ali
