"Whats your style... scalping, short term runs"

Scalping right now - looking for 2 or 3 points in a 2 to 4 minute trade. But I'd like to work on longer term trades lasting as long as the close of the day. I haven't got that feel yet.

"What's your screens like DeMark break outs, swings, MA's, ewaves, RSI, etc."

I did a lot of work with DeMark indicators and am of the opinion that they are no better no worse than anything else. I also tried an 8 period RSI on the 1-minute chart of the e-mini to catch the up and down movements. Also tried moving averages. But I don't use any of those now.

I just watch for consolidation on the major indices and the e-mini and play the break. Of course the trick is to buy low and sell high - which can be difficult on a false break out. I buy near resistance and sell near support on a nonvolatile day.

So basically I just watch price consolidation on the 1 and 5 minute charts and look at longer term charts for direction.
