Arlington Hits Twelve In A Row

Vancouver, British Columbia
Wednesday May 30, 9:00 am Eastern Time

Arlington Ventures Ltd. (the ``Company'') announces that it has successfully sidetracked the Ripperdan #55-13R well. The well is located in the main producing area of the Raisin City Field in Fresno County, California.

The Ripperdan #55-13R is the second successful well in the 11 well drilling program the Company has budgeted for 2001. Mud log shows indicate the well encountered in excess of 120 feet of oil and gas bearing sand intervals. A cased hole production log will be run to determine which sands will be initially completed. The Company will focus on the gas bearing zones of this new well and will put the well on line as soon as possible in order to capitalize on the current high prices in California.

Arlington Ventures Ltd. is a junior oil and gas company primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of natural gas and crude oil properties in North America. Currently, the Company is the operator of oil and gas producing and exploration properties in the San Joaquin Basin of California and the Company's proved reserves have been independently estimated to be US$100 million (NPV 10% discount rate - see Company's news release dated March 15, 2001).

The foregoing information contains forward-looking statements and forecasts, the realization of which cannot be assured. Actual results may differ significantly from those forecast. Inaccurate geologic and engineering interpretations, the volatility of commodity prices, unbudgeted cost increases, unforeseen delays in operations and operations that prove less successful than anticipated are risks that can significantly effect the Company's operations.
