Heinnz, I think that by saying no to GE the perception is that Europe will hold it's own and not be dragged by the US for their own foolishness.

The Euro got hit when they lowered interest rates by 25bp and the FED lowered it by 50bp. Then I think the perception was that Europe will dance at US will. Nothing to do with fundamentals.

I also speculate that the FED will lower 25bp plus signal lower rates ahead.
