When I posted this link on another thread, some people thought it was alarmist, and some thought it was a legitimate concern, so I was wondering what people here think of it. Gibson's basic concern seems to be that Windows XP will make it easy for relatively inexperienced crackers to launch distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks in complete anonymity. Is this something to be concerned about, or is he just being "Chicken Little," and if so why or why not?
