NV, the warnings I see are coming from everywhere, and not just tech. But even in tech, the semis are warning right and left. IRF did a doozy tonight. Smaller firms are warning constantly. Yes, Novellus and KLAC seem to be saying that the quarter is on track (but what will they say about next quarter when they report these earnings)? Heck, Adobe beat estimates after the close, but guided revenues lower for the next few quarters. That sure sounds like a warning to me.

I guess I just don't know how you can limit the warnings to a few subsectors of high tech. I feel like the kid in Sixth Sense: "I see earnings warnings."

Mind you, I don't know exactly what this'll do to the Naz (my guess is "not help it much"), but I strongly disagree with your saying the warnings are only in a few sectors.
