I still hold AMES. Most of our group that started the AMES thread here, and talked to Joe, are gone. Hills hurts still. It looks like a long haul to try for $100/share. Revenue is not growing. GE credit and new store openings are barely enough, due to cost of advertizing and sales events which stress margins. Some where, there maybe better cost control and profession enough to price products right(use loss leaders and not give away merchandise). Professionals tend to price the merchandise high enough for some easy profits. Look at AOL raising subscription $2 more per month(22-25 million customers paying $24 more each year). I learned many years ago, finally how to charge customers. AMES has a long way to go yet.
