The oil business is centered in two places. Houston and OPEC. When Houston seized the White House OPEC went along with the gouging. And why not? They were given tacit permission by The White House three-fourths of whom come from the oil business. Cheney is the Attila the Hun of the oil, military and construction business. Even Condaleeza Rice is a Chevron board member and has a tanker named after her, though they recently decided to change the name after energy became an ugly word to most Americans. Watch how the investigation of THE BIG GOUGE will be the biggest story of the Bush presidency and be a shameful black mark in American history. The Republicans had to go into Clinton's bedroom to try and find something to bring him down. With Bush it's right there in front of us. All it needs is looking into. And now that the Senate has decided to investigate, watch out GOP. Hundreds of billions stolen from consumers all over the world in a matter of months by creating a sudden artificial shortage even as energy use went downm adn the White House went along with it all the way. It was payback time. Simple as that.
