With a 1000% increase in the loss, I think it's pretty obvious that many CEO's were hoping against hope that the 2nd half recovery would, in fact, come to pass. Now that it's not, they are being forced to come clean.

This is at least the fifth company I've seen that has increased their loss estimates by a factor of ten. No way did they NOT know it was getting this bad.
