Tastes of lilac remind me of your kiss,
walking in the warm rain of summer.
Through the dust of years,
and still drawn to your smile.
Under the dark blanket of night,
finding myself lost in your stare.
Dreamless times of long ago,
still find the ways to haunt my soul.
Tear in my eye,
missing the laughter we had.
I will be in your dreams tonight,
gently caressing you from points unseen.
Worlds away,
we take the thick and break the thin,
unbelievable colors of life,
the keeper of the stars remain.
