Some of the signs may be:

1. Nokia's recent claim that they were not the ones hyping 3G capabilities. (i.e. we're not to blame for this mess you
are in).

2. GPRS handset delays.

3. GPRS data rates (or lack thereof).

4. Now obvious overstatements of wCDMA delivery timetable.

5. Bad mouthing of CDMA2000. (a sure sign the competition may be getting the carriers' ears).

6. Ericsson making it known that they have CDMA2000 infrastructure available (are they sensing a change in wind
direction, or what?).
