| Hawaii's problems with some on this board stem from two flaws in his thinking, in my opinion. One, he tends to believe that you can predict short term moves in stocks based on solid research. I think that short term moves are impossible to predict unless you have serious inside information which can't be posted anyway. This is because short term moves are based on many unpredictable variables, mostly involving emotions and mass psychology. Long term value of stocks, on the other hand, I think can be predicted with greater accuracy since it is based on rational factors and numbers. Still not easily predictable, obviously, but long term there are fewer psychological and emotional variables. Second flaw, Hawaii seems to forget sometimes that we are in a bear market and weak economy. So, the news and events that would have moved NTOP in the past do nothing in this market, as people are afraid to invest until the value becomes extremely clear. For instance, when positive earnings become imminent and clear. That said, he (I think he is a he) still provides excellent due diligence, is usually right about the facts, and is the main reason why this board is valuable.
