Why did Greenspan attack the markets? Because he didn't understand that competition kills inflation. Or becuase he/they wanted competition killed. Who is benefiting from the thousands of jobs lost? Corporate executives. Banks, if the consumers don't default on too many loans. Who is benefiting from the TRILLIONS of dollars in savings lost? Big Brokers and Banks. Do the Elite benefit from the impoverishment of Americans? Yes. Keep them uneducated, and poor, and subservient. Maintain status quo.
