I wouldn't count on that. Jordan would have easily accomplished that had he had a better support staff early on. If Kobe & Shaq stay together in L.A., and add another great defender, I could see 11 of 13 championships and 10 MVP's between them. Not saying that it will happen, but I wouldn't rule it out.

I would probably rule it out. First, with Jordon, even if he'd had a better supporting cast early on, he'd have had the competition of the Kareem/Magic Lakers, the Bird/McKale/Parish Celtics, and the Pistons at their peak. Jordon's Bull benefited from the lessened competition in the 90's.

As for the Shaq Lakers, there are rules changes next year (such as widening the lane) that will make it tougher for Shaq to park himself in the middle as much as he does. Further, he won't play another 9 years. Maybe 5. Kareem played much longer, but was known for incredible off season conditioning. Shaq makes Rap records in the off-season. And Kobe without Shaq will be another Vince Carter. Great talent, won't carry a team. A Larry Bird or Magic make players around them better. Kobe doesn't.
