ILXI, interesting story here

from dow jones:

Steve Jacobs, an analyst with U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, said the stock may be trading up because its business is "somewhat defensive in nature."

Interlogix makes security, burglar and fire alarm systems. Its electronic access systems use cards and magnetic door locks to limit building or room access.

Jacobs said the company beat his first-quarter earnings-per-share estimate by 3 cents, reporting earnings of 22 cents a share, compared with 13 cents a year ago. In the second quarter, Jacobs said he estimates the company will report earnings of 31 cents a share, compared with pro-forma earnings of 15 cents a share a year ago.

"Overall, this company is going to show really nice (earnings growth), versus what is going on throughout the stock market," Jacobs said.
