This was certainly true of the "last war!" Is it still true? It seem to me that "the network is the computer." INTC is moving strongly into comm and networking and the PC box makers into servers. I think we have a connect the dots problem to solve. I contend that the "best way to predict what's going to happen to AMAT" is to follow CSCO, NT, and LU. If this connection is valid, then when the street connects the dots, AMAT follows these guys down.
