How is Judaism "racialized" simply because some factions place requirements on conversion?
To start with, Jews are of all races already, without regard to conversion issues. Jews of all races and colors have immigrated to Israel, and continue to live there. Falasha Jews are "black", and always have been. The Israeli government worked hard to get them out, as did many, many "Caucasian" Jews.
By the way, you know of course (but pretend that you don't) that Islam is also highly factionalized and that a Shiite Muslim may be a heretic in the eyes of a Sunni Muslim and vice-versa, not to mention how other smaller factions get treated like Druse, etc. Much blood has been shed between the Sunnis and the Shi'as. |
