there are a lot of bantering around about the numbers 1850-1880 being a bottom.

i believe it is a natural stopping point also because several methods would all point to that area.

as for Paul's comment about the confirmed downtrend, well, from a bigger scheme of thing, the whole run-up from april bottom to may top and now falling apart, can be a consolidation in the big downtrend.

there is e-wave guys said a trip to 1850 area would be followed by a trip to 2600. it is hard to imagine we would get to 2600 anytime soon. but may be by year end, it may be possible because econ should have shown its face whether it would be in a recession or no recession, etc.
