Hate to say it, but GATA's Bill Murphy has become an excellent contrary indicator for short-term gold moves. Whenever he becomes optimistic about the gold cartel losing control soon -- POG is almost always slammed very soon thereafter. But when he gets discouraged, POG more often then not rallies nicely.
