I don't believe Bush will be impeached because the Democrats refuse to make enough noise.
Look at their easy acquiescence to the stooges that Bush appointed as cabinet members.

In my opinion, the people Bush chose all lied about their role in the future Bush government. During her Senate
hearings Norton claimed she was a passionate environmentalist. For a moment, I thought she
would sing, "America the Beautiful." Now that she is Interior Secretary, look at the anti-environmental bills that
she has supported such as drilling in the Alaskan wildlife refuge, drilling in the gulf. Even
Robert Redford, a serious environmentalist, has complained about her. I'll see if I can find the post for you..

And here's old Ashcroft up to his old tricks: big on guns but he says he doesn't have time
to consider that there are more minorities on death row than there are whites.. A New York Times
editorial mentioned it last weekend. I'll look it up for you as well.

Cheney ? He doesn't give a damn about how high-energy prices have hurt Americans and our
economy. Zinga! Cheny made something like $35 million last year.

Connie Rice ? She couldn't find her way out of a paper bag. Or should I say a piano room? As
an accomplished pianist the best thing that she could do for Bush is to play for state dinners.
According to reports that I've read she doesn't know zinga about Russia or China. Perhaps,
that is why she remains an isolationist. That way, she'll have more time for her piano lessons.

Paul O'Neil , the Secretary of the Treasury, is another disaster. Recently, I read that he
wants to abandon corporate taxes. He refused to investigate tax havens where wealthy investors
stash their money so the IRS can't find it. And we read that he wants to abandon social
security. I haven't found the reference for that statement, however.

If anyone can find references to O'Neil's recent statements, I wish you would post.

["I mean what if it is proven in upcoming investigations that Bush-Cheney and their cronies actually gave support for an artificial energy shortage, a massive manipulated price gouging and taking huge campaign contributions from the perpetrators costing US consumers hundred of billions of dollars?"]

The Supreme Court and the Republicans would bail them out somehow. On the other hand, we
should never underestimate the power of the press. Look what happened to Nixon.
