Joe: There doesn't seem to be any theory forming on how the salting was done or who was behind it. I was expecting by this time that an initial report would be out on how the salting was probably done, even if it was still a bit vague on who did it. Here we are a couple of months later, and the report by Bre-X investigators finds out nothing. Did anybody really think it would come to any conclusions? The RCMP are supposed to be looking into the fraud, and travelling to Kalimantan. Think how long it took the RCMP to build a case against Al Eagleson, and that had a strong paper trail. There doesn't seem to be much paper or other remaining evidence on the mining side of the Bre-X operation. John Felderhof isn't going to say anything incriminating, and neither is the group back in the Philippines. Time will just help with the coverup.
