Hi Steve,

Here's a network related Win98 question. I use IE on two computers networked together everyday. Often I want to open a favorite that was saved on the computer I'm not currently using. So using Windows Explorer, I find the favorite under Windows\Favorites\Etc on the other machine through the network. When I double click on it, it comes up in the IE browser.

This process used to work perfectly with my two Win95 machines. But the new Win98 machine refuses to allow the Win95 machine to open the Favorites folder. It allows every other folder to be opened remotely, but not the Windows/Favorites. There is no problem opening this folder locally on the 98 machine, or opening the favorites on the 95 machine remotely from the 98 puter.

The Favorites folder properties shows no checks by read only, archive or hidden attributes. It does have a grayed out check by system attributes.

Any ideas?

Esteban
