Has anyone spoken with CIEN regarding NT? 19 Billion. That is one humungous loss. It scares me half to death, especially the comment that internet traffic declined in the most recent quarter. Although most of the loss (12.3 billion) is a direct writedown of their failed acquisition strategy, and the other losses could also be lumped in the category of having the wrong products, nevertheless, it is pretty reasonable to assume that CIEN is going to get hit eventually. I know CIEN has already maintained its guidance for this quarter, but I sure would like it if they would comment on NT's woes.
